Logic or Emotion?

In life you need a mixture of logic and emotion to get by. It is not good if you have 100% one and 0% the other. I personally am made up of about three-quarters logic and one-quarter emotion. I know that is too much in favour of one, but you need a mixture. I do have and feel emotions. I am not an automaton. I'm just am not enough emotion, but I do have some, even though I have difficulty showing my emotions a lot of the time. I just am not a huggy-huggy, kissy, touchy-feely emotional sort of person. I don't pretend to be. Good or bad. That is me and that is what and who I am.

What and who I would rather be

If I had to choose between the two, I would rather be unpopular for being who and what I am, than be hugely popular for being who and what I am not.

Christmases come too early

Today, I noticed that shops and stores have Christmas Trees in. Some of them have decorations on their walls and ceilings, and one or two were playing Christmas songs such as "Pipes of Peace", which was about the goodwill shown at Christmas 1914 between the British and German troops at the trenches. That never happened the Christmas the year after, or the year after that or after that. No such goodwill was shown at Christmas during World War II either between troops of opposite sides. I have also heard familiar Christmas songs such as "I wish it could be Christmas everyday" by Wizzard and "Merry Xmas Everybody" by Slade.

I don't think shops should be allowed to put Christmas decorations up, nor should they be allowed to play Christmas songs before December 10th. By the time of Christmas, you get fed up of hearing Christmas songs and seeing decorations. Also, celebrities, such as footballers and music stars, shouldn't be allowed to write their life stories until about the age of 30. There have been, in the last 10-years, a glut of opportunistic, cash-in autobiographies by 20-year-old footballers and singers.
